These terms cover your use of Breach City at breachcity.io and app.breachcity.io, run by Innovmode CH. By using it you agree to them.
What Breach City is
A free educational simulation of running and defending organisations, with lessons and practice exercises. The organisations, people, systems and incidents in it are fictional. Nothing in it is professional, legal or security advice for a real organisation, and scores and readiness bars are learning indicators, not certifications.
Accounts and teams
- You're responsible for activity on your account. Keep your sign-in to yourself.
- Team owners and admins decide who joins their team and what's shared in it, and are responsible for that content.
- You can delete your account at any time from the account menu.
Fair use
Please don't:
- attack, overload, probe or try to break into Breach City or other people's accounts;
- use anything learned here to access systems you aren't authorised to test;
- post unlawful, abusive or misleading content in handles, team names, exercises or evidence;
- fake shares or scores to get access you haven't earned.
We may remove content or suspend access that breaks these terms.
Free access and changes
Breach City is free while it grows. We may change, add or remove features, including what free play includes, and we'll try to give notice of significant changes.
No warranty
Breach City is provided “as is”. We work to keep it available and your progress safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses or for loss of progress. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that can't be limited by law.
